We addressed that on the Dr Carol Show this past week. And we have some resources to suggest that may help you move forward to a meaningful work-life.
Here are some of the resources mentioned on the Dr Carol Show this past week:
1. Finding the Work You Love. Dan Miller of 48 Days has a wonderful group of resources that can help you discover what you were made to do, and create a work life that is meaningful. I was graciously allowed to guest post on 48days about some of the implications of your work on your health.
2. Striiv - the Smart Pedometer. You’ve heard me talk about the importance of exercise. And you’ve heard me talk about how I love my Striiv! Consider getting one for yourself, and find some motivation to move – and have some FUN!
3. Osteoporosis Fracture Risk Calculator. Osteoporosis fractures affect 1.5 million people yearly. Using this free online tool, you can find our your individual risk of having a fracture in the next ten years. Click on “Calculation tool”, select your country and ethnic group, and enter the information requested. (Don’t worry: your information is not saved.) And the National Osteoporosis Foundation also has resources available.
4. Totally Free Ministries Newletters. We hope to give you encouragement and hope in these monthly letters. Our latest one just came out this week! Check out recent letters here, and consider signing up to receive them by email for yourself.
